Masala – a blend of spices that is mostly used in Indian cooking. Spices range from coriander, cumin, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, peppercorn, star anise, green cardamom, black cardamom, fennel seeds, curry leaves, bay leaves. These spices are used both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian food . This month we bring to you the Egg Masala by Kiran Kaur.



Egg Masala


5 Boiled Eggs

1 medium Red Onion

½ cup Tomato Puree

1/2 cup chopped Coriander

1/2 cup chopped Parsley

2 tbsp Butter

1 tsp Cumin Seeds

1 tsp Tandoor Powder

1/2 tsp Coriander Powder

1/2 tsp Cumin Powder

1/2 tsp Garlic Paste

1/2 tsp Ginger Paste

Juice from 1/2 Lemon

Salt to taste
