Archangels

The word Archangel is derived from a Greek word whereby the word Archi means highest, chief, most important and Angel means a messenger of God. When put together it means the highest messenger of God.

As a Reiki Practitioner, I learned about the Archangels and how they play a major role in healing, giving strength, protecting from negativity or any harm, also while travelling and to learn how important it is for one to forgive.

Archangels are not limited to one religion or culture. They devote their services with lots of love to all so long as they receive gratitude. The Angels are always by our sides and often wait to be called upon to assist us in any way they can.

There are several Archangels, but we shall cover the major ones namely: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Chamuel, Haniel, Jophiel and Uriel.

Get ready to be enlightened by each Archangel.

 

Archangel Michael

 

Archangel Michael is said to be the first Angel to be created. He is said to be the oldest and the most powerful Ascended Master. The literal Hebrew name means "He who is like God."

He safeguards one and gives one inner strength and direction.

Known as the messenger of courage he dissolves fear and protects from any harm or anxiety. If one feels demotivated, call upon him and let him help you with your problem, as he is very kind and compassionate, he shall sail you through any trials. He helps to find one's life purpose.

If asked what Archangel Michael looks like, he has a strong physic, has brilliant green blue coloured eyes and large white gold wings. His mighty sword which depicts fire symbolizes his power to slay off anything causing harm.

Archangel Michael can be called upon whenever you feel any sort of negative vibe, fear, or anxiety. If You are feeling insecure about something or aren't feeling comfortable visiting some place, call upon Archangel Michael to aid in protection.

If You happen to know someone who may need surgery or maybe you are about to undergo one, call upon him to be there with You during the surgery and to ensure he is giving utmost protection. He can also be called upon to protect all Your near and dear ones too.

 

How to call upon Archangel Michael

I often say this Prayer

Dear Archangel Michael,

Please Protect me and all my Dear ones from harm or negativity.  Keep them safe, healthy, and happy always. Shield them with Your brilliant blue ball of protection. Cut off any cords which no longer serve them with Your mighty sword.

So be it!

Archangel Gabriel

Archangel Gabriel is also known as the "Strength of God". In the Bible she is said to be the one to tell Mother Mary about the birth of baby Jesus. Archangel Gabriel is clothed in blue or white garments. She carries a lantern, a white lily, and a trumpet.

Archangel Gabriel represents the feminine forces of creation, birth, and motherhood. She is called upon by hopeful parents who are looking forward to conceiving or adopting a child. She also motivates artists and speakers. Call upon her when You are about to begin a new project or venture into something new. She aids to limit procrastination and to overcome fear in the fields of an artist or a communicator.

 

How to call upon Archangel Gabriel

Dear Archangel Gabriel,

Please help me in my project and let me be able to communicate openly about it.

Give me the wisdom and knowledge to teach and guide.

Amen

Or

May You be there for those who are trying to conceive a baby or are at the onset of labour. Let them have a painless and safe delivery.

Archangel Raphael

Archangel Raphael is referred to as "God Has Healed", in Hebrew. He is an Angel who heals any physical, emotional, or mental illness.

Archangel Raphael's colour is emerald, green. At times during Reiki sessions that I give, many of my clients have mentioned that they see sparkles of green or green forests or lush green grass.

This is an indication that when Archangel Raphael is called upon, he is never too shy to show his subtle signs of his presence.

Archangel Raphael is called upon whenever someone has health issues which need to be addressed. He guides and supports all healers. He also helps to reduce or eliminate cravings or addictions and he helps in finding lost pets.

 

How to call upon Archangel Raphael 

Dear Archangel Raphael,

Please heal (the name of the person) and make them whole. Heal them from (state the ailment, emotional, physical, or mental).

Please Protect the mother (name) and baby during labour, may they have a safe delivery. May (name) have a successful surgery.

So be it!

Archangel Chamuel

Archangel Chamuel is the Angel of relationships and unconditional love, also referred to as "He Who Sees God". He is the messenger of peace on earth. He brings harmony wherever there seems to be any sort of disruption. He is associated with the colour pink.

He aids in looking up for lost items and helps bring peace in relationships. If you are looking for a new friend, a new job, he also helps to find a soulmate. You can also ask him to lead You to whatever it is that will bring You everlasting peace.

 

How to call upon Archangel Chamuel 

Dear Archangel Chamuel,

I pray to You to help me seek my soulmate, to guide me to the one who loves me unconditionally. To help me look for (any item, document, or pets) lost. I ask You to protect me in a ball of Your pink energy.

Please bring peace to any dispute.

So it is!

 

Archangel Haniel

 Archangel Haniel, also known as "The Glory of God", is associated with our feminine traits. Her energies are connected to the planets Venus and the Moon. You might have noticed that during the full moon one can tend to be very emotional. Just like the moon cycle we are reminded that we too have different phases in life.

Archangel Haniel helps us nurture ourselves. We often tend to be too harsh or very judgemental towards ourselves and others. When we call upon Archangel Haniel, she reminds us to be gentle and not to feel the pressure of masking our authentic self. She empowers us to accept ourselves gracefully and to love ourselves unconditionally. After all one can only love unconditionally if they first learn to love themselves.

 

How to call upon Archangel Haniel 

Dear Archangel Haniel,

I seek Your guidance to help me feel grounded as I feel very emotional. Please help me to be kind to myself and (names of people or to the situation). Dear loving, wise spiritual guide please assist me to become more intuitive and to give me clarity to take a step forward without any hesitation whatsoever.

So be it!

 

Archangel Jophiel

 Archangel Jophiel is also known as the "Beauty of God".  She helps heal negative beliefs about yourself.  She is the Angel of beauty, creativity, and arts. She helps you build your confidence and reminds you that self-love is essential and is not being selfish. She helps us manifest not only outward beauty but also inward beauty. She brings about hope and joy.

 

How to call upon Archangel Jophiel

 Dear Archangel Jophiel,

Help me manifest the beauty in me and around me. Help me use my creativity in all aspects of my life. Help me release all negative beliefs about myself. Bring me joy so that I can spread happiness in the lives of all that I meet and so it is!

Archangel Uriel

 Archangel Uriel also known as "God's Light'' or ''God is Light ". He connects you to the higher spiritual realms. He activates the crown chakra and bestows wisdom to transmute any negative energy into its highest possible good. Call upon Archangel Uriel when sitting for any academic exams, he is also known to clear brain fog. He guides teachers, students, researchers, and inventors.

 

How to call upon Archangel Uriel

 Dear Archangel Uriel,

Please guide me in every step to learn and do well in my examinations. Help me get clarity whilst making any important decisions.

Please help me sooth all conflicts and bring peace and forgiveness to all. Fill me with the knowledge of knowing who I really am.
