Every August, something rather funny happens.

Social media suddenly becomes a sea of lions, galaxies, angel numbers and people confidently announcing they're about to manifest their dream home, soulmate, six-figure business and a holiday to Bali... all before the kettle has finished boiling.

Now don't get me wrong—I absolutely love a bit of cosmic magic. (You'd be worried if I didn't!)

But here's the thing...

The Lion's Gate Portal isn't about waving a crystal at the Moon and hoping your bank account magically grows a few extra zeros overnight.

If only it were that easy!

The Lion's Gate is an invitation.

An invitation to pause.

To breathe.

To check in with yourself.

To stop living life on autopilot and ask yourself one very important question...

"If I truly believed anything was possible, what would I choose?"

The Lion's Gate Portal reaches its energetic peak every year on 8 August (8/8).

Spiritually, many people believe this is a powerful time for reflection, intention and personal growth. The number 8 is often linked with abundance, confidence, prosperity and the infinite flow of energy.

Add Leo's bold, heart-led energy into the mix and it's like the Universe lovingly says...

"Come on, beautiful soul... stop playing small."

I don't know about you, but sometimes I need that reminder.

Because life gets busy.

We spend so much time looking after everyone else that we quietly forget ourselves.

Confession Time...

Can I let you into a little secret?

Even as a Reiki Master, Psychic and Holistic Therapist, I don't float around my house wrapped in white linen with perfect hair while talking to my spirit guides.

I still lose my car keys.

I still burn the toast.

I still walk into a room and completely forget why I'm there.

Apparently, intuition doesn't help you remember where you left your phone!

Being spiritual doesn't mean being perfect.

It means coming back to yourself... again and again.

You don't need twenty-seven crystals balanced on your forehead.

You don't even need incense... although it does smell lovely.

Sometimes manifestation looks like:

✨ Saying "no" without apologising.

✨ Going for a walk.

✨ Taking five deep breaths before reacting.
